CM2026 Preview | From -253°C to 800°C: Super Tech Is Proud to Present New Vacuum Insulation Solutions in Beijing

Table of Content [Hide]

Energy resources in the depths of the seas can only be harnessed with the finest insulation materials.

With the increasing professionalisation of offshore engineering, how to provide LNG/LPG carriers and storage tanks with reliable thermal insulation has become a focal point of the industry.

The 16th Beijing International Offshore Engineering Technology & Equipment Exhibition (CM2026) is approaching.

Super Tech will present its new products for divers applications, including deep-sea LNG transportation, EV battery safety, and more. We break through the limits of thermal insulation through the development of advanced insulation materials.

    Highlights | Four Key Products

Our focus at the expo is offshore engineering, energy storage and transportation, and advanced manufacturing, and we will present four key products:

    01. VIR Vacuum-Insulated Pipe

    VIR (Vacuum-Insulated Round Pipe)

VIR products apply vacuum insulation technology to achieve outstanding thermal performance while remaining space-efficient, outperforming traditional insulated pipeline designs.

Space-efficient: Minimal installation space allows for more flexible pipeline routing.

Temperature coverage: Covers six different temperature ranges, suitable for cryogenic service at -253°C as well as for high-temperature applications up to 800°C.

Versatility: Available in curved vacuum insulation panels, which can also be used for large LNG storage tanks, as well as flat vacuum insulation panels.

    02. BPP Marine Vacuum Insulation Panel

BPP (BVP-PIR) Marine Vacuum Insulation Panel

    Building Vacuum Insulated Panel

    Polyisocyanurate Foam

Designed for LNG/LPG carriers, this cryogenic insulation solution combines vacuum insulation with PIR composites.

Puncture resistance: An improved heat-sealing method increases puncture resistance and preserves VIP integrity, making it superior to traditional VIPs in terms of service life and gas transmission rate.

Customised for cryogenic insulation: Designed for vessels operating at temperatures from -196°C to -100°C, with excellent technical parameters relevant to cryogenic service.

Easy installation: The composite panel structure with cryogenic-resistant adhesive is easy to install as the primary insulation layer of membrane-type LNG/LPG vessel tanks.

    03. LNG Elastic Felt

    CM2026_Preview_03.jpg

Designed for LNG storage tanks, combining insulation performance with structural stability.

High rebound coefficient: With a rebound coefficient of 0.48, the product performs well against lateral pressure.

High insulation performance: At -165°C under laboratory conditions, the central thermal conductivity of the product is 0.012 W/(m·K).

Safe to use: A1 non-combustible material, non-corrosive, with a tensile strength of 28 kPa and a moisture content of 0.4%.

    04. Vacuum Insulation Panel Lite (Ultra-Thin Vacuum Insulation Panel)

Designed for EV battery packs and home appliances.

High insulation performance: central Lambda value ≤3 mW/(m·K) in a 25°C laboratory environment, eight times better than non-insulating materials.

Lightweight: Suitable for EV battery packs, home appliances, insulated containers, and other applications.
